Shepherd is a managed service, and enables any device to
communicate with any application. Infrastructure monitoring and a
library of supported devices and service enablers allow fast, cost
effective and simple deployment and operation of new M2M
services.

Shepherd® GSM Connectivity
The Shepherd platform and services are independent of the mobile
operator, but Telenor Objects may provide GSM subscriptions as part
of the Telenor Group. Telenor Objects will then act as a single
point of contact for both the Shepherd services and GSM
subscriptions.

Shepherd® Plug-in Framework
The Shepherd Plug-in Framework is a toolkit to quickly and
easily connect, configure and enable monitoring of any new device.
It includes a Software Development Kit which provides template code
that serves as a starting point for connecting a device to the
Shepherd.
